As a non-profit, we rely solely on donations, adoption fees and the generosity of the caring members of our community to sustain our mission. Our operating expenses ( lease, cat food, litter, medical care, etc. ) amount to $5000 per month. Any donation you could make would be extremely helpful in defraying some of these costs. You can be sure that they will always go to a very good cause.

In addition to financial help, we also have a Wish List of items we need, many on a daily basis. If you live in the Portland area and would like to contribute, the cats would be very grateful.
- Cat litter – we go through 90 lbs of cat litter a week!
Any kind will do, but our preference is for the better kind, to help keep the dust down
- Cat food – We go through 20 lbs of cat food a week!
Purina One - Chicken and Wild Rice is our mainstay.
We also use Science Diet - Kitten.
- Plastic grocery bags – We use 6-8 bags every day for litter disposal
- Self-wringing string mops, bleach, & Pine-Sol – A mop here at PAWS lasts one month!
- Toilet paper & paper towels
- Stamps – for newsletter mailing
- Tea lights – for use in miniature woodstoves that help provide heat
- Old wooden chairs – for use as cat furniture.
Preferably with removable upholstery, caned or leather seats; the more battered, the better!
- Chair cushions – the kind that tie on to chairs
- Computer printer
- Adding machine
- Large garbage bags
- Pens and lined note paper
